COVID-19 Information

Hi Gateway Church People,

God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
– Psalm 46 (NLT)

We are contacting you in follow up to our communication around the Covid-19 Virus. This morning the Government has advised against all non-essential gatherings of over 100 people. We wanted to communicate with you how this will affect our Sunday Services and programs.

We believe at this time that the best thing we can do as a church is to move our Sunday Worship Service to Online Church. What is Online Church? We are still meeting together at the exact same time as we normally would, we will simply be attending the service via our home computer, TV, tablet or handheld device.

Wherever you watch from, we encourage you to engage with our church service as you normally would, praise and worship, agreement with the word, celebrating communion with your family, prayer, and giving (online options are available).

Regarding our departments and programs, we will be pausing meeting together in person within the following areas; BeKids, Gateway Kids, Gateway Youth, Gateway Young Adults, Connect Groups, Growth Track, Leadership & Discipleship and Prayer Meetings. Instead, we are putting plans in place to care, resource and encourage every generation and sphere within Gateway utilising phone contact and technology.

If you do not have access to the internet or a device to attend Online Church, we are going to make DVD’s of the message to distribute to you.  If you require a DVD of the message, we are asking you to fill out this form, gc.org.au/connect tick the box for “DVD of Online Church Messages” and write a note at the bottom of the form if necessary

Online Church Information

Most of you would know by now that last weekend we made it possible for church members who were ill and self-isolating to attend church online.

We have been able to make this process even more streamlined. The following links will connect you to Online Church on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
