At Gateway we believe that we are each called to participate and join with God in the mission and plan that He is outworking.
We do this by contributing with our lives to the mission wherever we are positioned in life and with whatever resource God provides us with.
To contribute to the mission you can;

What does this look like?
This looks like all of us, giving and contributing our lives to see people reached, included and restored into relationship with God.
We believe that in the same way that Jesus gave of Himself, we are called to learn that pattern of living; giving of ourselves for the well-being and salvation of those who are yet to know God personally through Jesus.

Generosity is one of our core values as a church. We strive to be a church that is generous in everything that we do. When we talk about giving at Gateway, we aren’t just talking about finances; we are talking about giving of our time, talents and tithe.

Invite a Friend
One moment in the presence of Jesus can change someone’s life forever. There are several ways you can invite your friends to join you for our Sunday services. Help us spread the word!
You can do this by building personal relationships with people within your environment (workplace, school, family) and the greater Geelong community. Once you have built a personal relationship with a person you can share your personal story with them and provide encouragement to them.
Missions
Making an Impact Locally & Globally
There are many reasons that we choose to be active in mission and be contributors to the mission. The core reason to our response, compassion and passion toward this is framed out of the Bible. The following scripture captures our desire to partner with and for the Kingdom. Simply put – “that God would be made known both locally and globally to the hearts of all humanity.”
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Missions Partners
As a church we partner with a number of different missions initiatives, locally and globally.
Monthly Missions Snapshots
Every fourth Sunday of the month we spend some time discussing our missions initiatives, providing updates from our initiatives about their projects and providing updates to you on how we as a Church have contributed financially throughout the previous month.
As part of this time we put a specific focus on a missions initiative, taking up an offering specifically for them.
Serve in a Team
It is our desire that everybody at Gateway Church Geelong would have the opportunity to connect, be equipped & contribute to the mission.
All of us were created by God to make a difference in the life of another person. God has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can touch the lives of others. We believe that your life will never make sense until you find, develop, and fulfill that purpose.
There are many different opportunities to serve in the life of the church.
